Researchers from CNR-IRCrES participated in the 28th International Conference on Science, Technology, and Innovation Indicators (STI 2024)<\/strong> in Berlin, an event dedicated to exploring the complex dynamics between openness and closedness in science, technology, and innovation, and their influence on research, policy, and practice.<\/p>\n

Organized by Fraunhofer ISI, Humboldt University Berlin, and the German Centre for Higher Education Research and Science Studies (DZHW) in collaboration with the European Network of Indicator Developers (ENID)<\/strong>, the conference brought together leading experts and researchers.<\/p>\n

On September 18, Lorenzo Giammei<\/a> <\/strong>presented the paper “Unveiling direct and indirect effects of network collaboration on university research excellence using Bayesian networks”<\/em>, co-authored with Antonio Zinilli <\/strong>and Emanuela Varinetti<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

On September 19, Antonio Zinilli<\/a><\/strong> presented the paper “Research funding disparities among early career and senior researchers: which network configurations and funding returns?”<\/em>, co-authored with Andrea Spinello<\/a><\/strong>, Emanuela Reale<\/strong>, and Giovanni Cerulli<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Finally, on September 20, Emanuela Reale<\/a> <\/strong>and Antonio Zinilli led a panel discussion on “Doctorate holders in the wider labor market: new analytical perspectives from the FOSSR project”<\/em>.<\/p>\n
