Si tiene il 27 e 28 novembre<\/strong> a Parigi la conferenza “European research challenges: CNR, CNRS, CSIC Humanities & Social sciences Scientific perspectives<\/strong>” organizzata\u00a0 dal Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS<\/strong>), in collaborazione con il Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Cient\u00edficas (CSIC<\/strong>) e CNR-DSU<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

L\u2019iniziativa riunisce i principali attori della ricerca europea nel campo delle scienze umane e sociali. La conferenza, che vede la partecipazione di esperti della Commissione Europea e rappresentanti dei Paesi balcanici, affronta le sfide cruciali della ricerca contemporanea.<\/p>\n

Per CNR-IRCrES partecipano Giuseppe Giulio Calabrese<\/a>, Elena Ragazzi<\/a> e Antonella Emina<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Nell’ambito dell’iniziativa sar\u00e0 presentato da\u00a0Elena Ragazzi<\/strong><\/a> il contributo “Understanding old and new inequalities: challenges, dirvers and societal responses<\/strong>”\u00a0 (con Roberta Perna e Francesca Pozzi)<\/p>\n

Research at CNR, CNRS and CSIC around the broad topic of inequalities investigates the role of <\/em>policies and institutions in promoting a more resilient, competitive, inclusive, and democratic Europe. <\/em>Reducing inequality in education, income, and well-being and prevent new technologies to become a driver of new inequalities, should be a priority on every policymaker’s<\/em> agenda to ensure a healthy economic system and a cohesive society<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Giuseppe Giulio Calabrese<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0fa invece parte del working group sul tema: “Green transition, with particular emphasis on urban approaches<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

Socio-technical transitions are non-linear, complex and multi-dimensional processes <\/em>involving technological, organisational, institutional, political, economic and socio-<\/em>cultural changes. They typically affect a wide range of actors (e.g. public institutions, <\/em>individuals, firms and organisations) and technological elements (e.g. material artefacts <\/em>and knowledge), intertwined with formal and informal regulatory systems, social and <\/em>technical norms and standards of good practice. Sustainable transitions are critical to <\/em>securing our life-support systems that enable desirable societal functions (e.g. mobility, <\/em>energy, agri-food, health).<\/em><\/p>\n
