corresponding author: g.daldanise@iriss.cnr.it<\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Abstract<\/strong><\/p>\n The paper develops the issue of the sea-coast system as a \u201cmaritime cultural landscape\u201d, using the theory of the \u201ccommons\u201d. The maritime cultural landscape is understood as a common good and this implies the need to involve urban and maritime communities in both its care and enhancement. Based on this assumption, we consider the maritime cultural landscape as a \u201ccultural ecosystem\u201d, an expression of the heterogeneity of urban and maritime communities and their interrelationships. In this perspective, the research proposes a framework to analyse \u201ccultural values\u201d and \u201ccultural services\u201d for the maritime cultural landscape enhancement by involving the coastal community through collaborative governance processes.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Keywords:<\/strong> maritime cultural landscape, commons, collaborative governance.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n How to Cite this Article<\/strong><\/p>\n Clemente, M.
