{"id":1261,"date":"2014-11-12T09:03:24","date_gmt":"2014-11-12T08:03:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ircres.cnr.it\/team\/spinello-andrea-orazio\/"},"modified":"2025-12-01T08:02:24","modified_gmt":"2025-12-01T07:02:24","slug":"spinello-andrea-orazio","status":"publish","type":"team","link":"https:\/\/www.ircres.cnr.it\/en\/team\/spinello-andrea-orazio\/","title":{"rendered":"Spinello Andrea Orazio"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Andrea Orazio Spinello is a researcher at the CNR-IRCrES, Rome Unit.<\/p>\n<p>He holds a Master\u2019s degree in Sociology, and a second-level University Master programme in \u2018Evaluation of Local Development Interventions\u2019 from the University of Catania, and a Ph.D. in Communication, Research, Innovation (with a specialization in Social Science Methodology) from Sapienza University of Rome.<\/p>\n<p>His research focuses on Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) studies, with particular emphasis on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Research and Development (R&amp;D) policies, including public funding mechanisms and the assessment of the alignment between public research investments and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs);<\/li>\n<li>Research evaluation and transformations in research practices;<\/li>\n<li>Universities\u2019 public engagement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Currently, Andrea is the scientific responsible of the Online Research Panel (ORP) of the PNRR-IR project FOSSR \u2013 Fostering Open Science in Social Science Research, where he also serves as Work Package leader for training activities and as a member of the Executive Committee.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, he leads the CNR local unit for the PRIN 2022 project \u2018PLACES\u2019, which investigates universities\u2019 public engagement in Italy, France and the UK.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, he participates in the European Research Infrastructure for Science and Innovation Policy Studies (RISIS), where he manages two datasets within the Italian node: EFIL and JoREP 2.0.<\/p>\n<p>Andrea teaches <em>Quantitative Methods for User Research<\/em> at LUMSA University.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":3200,"template":"","team-area":[11,12],"class_list":["post-1261","team","type-team","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","team-area-consiglio-distituto","team-area-ricercatori-e-tecnologi"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.ircres.cnr.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/team\/1261","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.ircres.cnr.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/team"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.ircres.cnr.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/team"}],"version-history":[{"count":13,"href":"https:\/\/www.ircres.cnr.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/team\/1261\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":9688,"href":"https:\/\/www.ircres.cnr.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/team\/1261\/revisions\/9688"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.ircres.cnr.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/3200"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.ircres.cnr.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=1261"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"team-area","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.ircres.cnr.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/team-area?post=1261"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
