Higher Education policy and Research policy

Knowledge production and dissemination are crucial factors supporting innovation, and the production of wealth and social well-being. The functioning of research institutions and policies are therefore key elements for sustainable development.

The aim of the research is to analyze the higher education system and the public and private research systems of contemporary societies, developing in particular the following themes:

  • Design and implementation of public policies and institutional changes of Higher Education Institutions and research institutions (governance, funding, mobility, career and recruitment of researchers, European integration)
  • Research integrity, responsible research, and communication of science
  • Structure of scientific policy advice in the formulation of public policies
  • Dissemination of knowledge, dynamics of scientific networks and their configuration in terms of organizations, projects and results
  • Indicators on science, technology and innovation and research infrastructures in the STI filed.
