Abstract The project aims at analysing the social and economic context of AI technology and robotics with reference to urban areas made up of citizens belonging to different age groups: adolescents, adults, and the elderly. It is thus intended to draw up evaluation models for technological innovation interventions that enable the social and economic effects of the expected changes to be monitored. Within this framework, participatory events are proposed in which stakeholders and citizens could express their acceptance and social and individual impact about AI technologies and robotics. At the same time, it is proposed to set up a systematic collection of press reviews on AI and Robotics in the print media distributed in Liguria and in Italy. The objective is to attempt to outline, through the words used in interviews/events and the words used in the press review, the perception and impact of advanced technologies on the territory. Through the collection and return of survey results, the function of RAISE in this context will be to promote trust in AI technologies and robotics among that portion of population that continues to experience new technologies with distrust. Another aim is to stimulate reflection on the effects, positive or negative, that these technologies might have on everyday life. By analysing the perception of the technologies also in the press review, it will be possible to identify the strengths, and possibly weaknesses, of the communication to the public (analysis of the readability of the texts, use or non-use of specific technical terminology, information that reaches readers of all ages clearly).
