SHORT BIO

Emanuela Reale is director of the Research Institute on Sustainable Economic Growth - IRCRES CNR. Her research area is the study of the public sector research institutions and policies, with particular reference to university policy, governance, funding mechanisms, methods and tools for university and research assessment, science and technology indicators. She has worked in numerous national and international projects as a principal investigator or as a coordinator. Since 2019 she is member of the Consortium Management Committee of the European RISIS infrastructure for Research on Science, Technology and Innovation. Emanuela is a member of the Board of the European Forum for studies on research and innovation policies-EU-SPRI, member of the Board of the Consortium on Higher Education Research and of the Board of ENID-European Network of Indicator Designers. She published and is a referee in numerous international journals and books.

ERICA RIZZIATO

Expert in methodologies for organization and local development, innovation in training, placement and new competences of leadership for systemic change with a multidisciplinary approach. I work with an action research approach and was scientific responsible of several research and innovation projects. I published recently the final result of this work were I describe the Methodology for horizontal leadership and integrated organizations.Previously I graduated in Demographic Statistics at Padua University, worked in a IT company, then I was busy in technology transfer and innovation research projects to connect companies and University. In that period I created a start up company to help SME export. Then I worked as cnr researcher in a project promoted by Giovanni Falcone at Ministry of Justice to study the effects of the new penal code.

SHORT BIO

Igor Benati currently works at the Research Institute on Sustanaible Economic Growth (IRCRES), of Italian National Research Council. He is interested in public policy analysis and evaluation and in theyr use in public administration. In particular, over the years, he has devoted himself to the study of socio-economic development policies and vocational training policies. More recently, he has expanded his interests to include policies for the reception of migrants.

TEACHING

Igor Benati taught public policy analysis and evaluation in several Masters Programs, from 2001 to 2006.

LISA SELLA

Since 2010 researcher at CNR-IRCrES, Research Institute on Sustainable Economic Growth of the Italian National Research Council. She is an applied economist with special interest in quantitative methods. She is professor of Business Analytics at the University of Turin, where she held her PhD in Economics in 2008. Currently, her research interests mainly concern methods, data and techniques for public policy and program evaluation. Since 2010 she has been working on research projects on training and job placement policies and she is currently involved in a comprehensive counterfactual evaluation project of occupational safe and health policies, as well as policies fostering active ageing. Other research interests include quantitative methods for growth and economic analysis, agent-based modeling, and complex economic systems.
