Monica Cariola is currently senior researcher at IRCrES-CNR. Laurea 110/110 cum laude in Economics, University of Turin and postgraduate in Foresight at PREST, Manchester University (UK). After 2 year as Economic-financial Analyst in a Company operating in R&D of innovative productive processes, since 1989 she works at IRCrES, (former CERIS). Here she has been Scientific Leader of the Research Units “Innovation” and “Innovative public policy evaluation” and Project or WP leader in several European/National Research Projects, especially in the field of innovation, industrial sectors analysis, economic-social impact analysis of green technologies, technology Foresight, public policies analysis and evaluation (e.g.. EU Project “iMERA – ERA-NET” 2004-2007; EU-FSE POR, 2000-2006; EU Project EQUAL- PRIMEALI, 2005-2008; NANOBUILD” within POR FESR 07/13). In the building sector she was responsible of the research projects within the Innovation Pole on “Environmentally sustainable Building”, (Piedmont Region, 2010-2015) and task leader within the CSA H2020 “HAPPEN - Holistic APproach and Platform for the deep renovation of the Med residential built Environment” (2018-2021). In the marine sector, with reference to sustainable technologies/resources, she has been responsible of an OU within the RITMARE governmental project (2012-2016) and coordinator of “The Economy Mirror Platform - Economic sectors of Blue Growth” within the European CSA BLUEMED (Horizon 2020, 2017-2021). From 2002 to 2006, she has been visiting professor at the Polytechnics of Turin for the courses of "Economics" and of "Management”. Among the others, she has been member of the “International Foresight S&T Group”, supporting the CNR strategic planning.

Luca Tricarico is researcher at the Research Institute on Sustainable Economic Growth - National Research Council of Italy (IRCrES - CNR), Rome Unit.

Background as urban and regional policy expert with longly established experience in social innovation strategies, applied research and research-based strategic/advocacy consultancy on the following main issues: (local) economic development; innovation ecosystems and multi-stakeholder organizations; social impact of emergent technologies. in 2018 he obtained a doctorate in Urban Planning, Design and Policy at the Department of Architecture and Urban Studies of the Milan Polytechnic, a European title obtained with a year as Visiting PhD Fellow at the Department of Geography and Environment of the London School of Economics and Political sciences. Before becoming a researcher at the CNR, he was a post-doc fellow at the Management department of Luiss Guido Carli. He has been adjunct professor of Development Economics at Sapienza University and he is currently adjunct professor of Economics of Strategy at Luiss Business School.

ARIANNA RADIN

Since October 2022, Arianna Radin works as a Research Fellow at Research Institute on Sustainable Economic Growth (CNR-IRCrES), under the project VIP-MOVInG - Evaluation of Prevention Incentives - Evaluation Models on the Impact Generated by ISI calls. She  holds a PhD in Sociology at University of Turin, Italy. She worked at University of Turin, University of Bergamo and Politecnico di Torino in the field of sociology of health and Science & Technology Studies . Her main interests of research are STS, sociology of health (focusing on prevention and professions) and sociology of risk. She was a Board Member for two mandates of the ESA Research Network of Sociology of Health and Illness. Currently she is a member of AIS, STS Italia and she is Associated Member of “Health Advancement Research Team” at the University of Lincoln, UK.

Varinetti Emanuela (PhD in Applied Social Sciences) is a researcher at the CNR-IRCrES. She is in charge of collecting, documenting and preparing open-access research databases on Science, Technology and Innovation.
