XIII International Workshop on Computational Economics and Econometrics (IWcee25) | December 3-5, 2025, Rome, Italy

The XIII International Workshop on Computational Economics and Econometrics (IWcee25) is organized by CNR-IRCrES and will take place in Rome (The Social Hub Rome, viale dello Scalo San Lorenzo 10) from December 3-5, 2025. The event aims to bring together leading researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to explore how digital data and computational methodologies can address pressing societal challenges.

IWcee25 provides an interdisciplinary platform to examine the intersection of digital transformation and social sciences. The workshop focuses on how innovative data sources, computational advancements, and cross-disciplinary approaches can generate actionable insights and drive meaningful change in addressing global societal issues.

Key areas of exploration include the societal implications of digital transformation, the complex interaction between human behavior and digital ecosystems, and the emerging ethical frameworks required in our increasingly digital world. IWcee25 welcomes researchers, technology developers, social scientists, and policymakers interested in fostering collaborative dialogues that examine challenges and propose sustainable, ethical, and inclusive solutions for our global digital society.

The Scientific Committee members are Lucio Morettini, Giovanni Cerulli, Antonio Zinilli (CNR-IRCrES), Barbara Guardabascio (University of Perugia) and Roberto Leombruni (University of Torino). Sukjin Han School of Economics – University of Bristol, and Miroslav Štefánik, Institute of Economic Research of the Slovak Academy of Sciences are involved in this edition as keynote speakers.
