Beginning July 2023, Nicola Pollo is awarded a scholarship under the A.B.R.E.S.O. project (ABandonment and REbound: SOcietal views on landscape and land-use change and their impacts on water and soils) at the Institute for Research on Sustainable Economic Growth (CNR-IRCrES). Graduated in Master Sociology from the University of Turin with a thesis investigating and attempting to conceptualize the different approach to Covid-19 early sanitary management by Veneto and Lombardy. Later, as part of a master’s program in cultural tourism design and management, he conducts research on Turin’s nightlife emphasizing, investigating and relating spatial, social and economic dynamics.

His research focuses on preferences and acceptability judgments concerning land use and land use changes.
