This session aims to contribute to scientific research on the role of the supply chain in the agri-food sector where the concept of “Made in Italy” is changing in the internationalization strategies of companies and their competitiveness in relation to the global scenario. It is known that the “Made in Italy” agri-food sector is one of the pillars of the Italian economy and is recognized worldwide for its excellence. This international success is based on a long agricultural and gastronomic tradition, combined with a strong commitment to quality and sustainability of its supply chain. The session invites contributions from various fields,
focusing on different keys of analysis of the agri-food sector: territorial diversity, sustainability & innovation and internationalization strategies. The session welcomes both theoretical and empirical approaches in order to have a better understanding of the changes and the potential of the agri-food sector for Italy.
