Greta Falavigna (female, 1979), master’s degree in economics, Ph.D. in Economics and Technology Management, bachelor’s degree in literature. Her main research areas include econometric models and complex systems (i.e., artificial neural networks, genetic algorithm, decision trees, fuzzy systems, hybrid complex models, and so on) applied to different fields: finance; evaluation of firms’ performance from economic and financial point of view; evaluation of public research; healthcare evaluation; judicial system. She has previously published her works in various scholarly outlets such as Expert Systems with Applications, European Journal of Operational Research, International Review of Economics, Health Care Management Science, Health policy, Agricultural systems, Annals of Emergency Department, Research Evaluation, Socio-economic planning science, Scientometrics as well as Journal of Small Business Management.
