EduFabLab – Laboratories for Educational Needs

Abstract

The idea behind the project is to create in Biella the EduFabLab (Workshops for Educational Needs), spaces for children from 11 to 17 years, in which adolescents can have free access to high quality educational and cultural content and services: spaces for study, workshops, museums, sports facilities, orientation and psychological support, but also training /information activities for teaching staff and families, to be carried out “on demand”. EduFabLabs will therefore be physical places of aggregation, but also – and above all – a wide network of services, in which needs expressed by adolescents and educating community can meet and be satisfied by the proposal of the partners. Ircres CNR has the task to assess  the effects of the program through the use of rigourous methodologies, adapted to operational context.
