Regional Sustainable Growth

This multidisciplinary approach focuses on industrial economics, environmental economics, business economics, sociology, economic geography, and territorial planning.

The main issues concern Corporate Social Responsibility, circular economics, technological infrastructures, network contracts, as well as the "classic" study about industrial districts, clusters, industrial economic structure.

The research collects data and information from companies and local experts in order to define how the socio-economic characteristics of the region and the local competitive advantages could support a sustainable growth. In addition, we elaborate data from the CNR databases (Aida, Istat-Asia, Istat-Coeweb, European Patent Office, Accredia) by applying econometrics (panel, time series, space econometrics), balance sheet analysis, descriptive statistics, case studies, benchmarking, action research.

The goal is to identify public policies and related methodologies that strengthen the sustainable growth path of the local economy.
