Abstract

IPSP-CNR participates in a European project called European Virus Archive-GLOBAL, for which it is required to organize the data relating to viral isolates in a database and make them available to the scientific community with appropriate cataloging and accessibility.
The IPSP owns and maintains in its laboratories a collection of over 1000 isolates of plant viruses, called Plavit, collected, characterized and classified during its decades of activity.
With this project Ircres redesigns the structure and database data of Plavit viral isolates for migration to a MYSQL server. Identify the most suitable open-source product for the use of content through a web interface.
